At Sailing World Magazine, my beat was Olympic Sailing. My first Olympic Games was the Rio de Janeiro Olympics in 2016. I spent over two years covering the sailors and teams leading up to the Regatta. At the games, I filed two web stories a day and followed the experience up with a feature article in the November/December 2016 issue of Sailing World Magazine.
Here some select highlights of my coverage of the 2016 Olympic Sailing Regatta.

Pre-Event Coverage, on-site:

Much Ado About Water: The Olympic sailing venue is what it is — pollution and all.
Right in the Middle of it All: Rio’s sailors are experiencing the Olympics up close, thanks to the central location of the Marina da Gloria.
Controlled Chaos: Two days before the Opening Ceremonies, the Olympic boat park at the Marina da Gloria is buzzing.
