About Lisa Gabrielson McCurdy:
I am the Founder and Principal at Wing on Wing, LLC, a full-service marketing company. I have a talent for storytelling and strategic communication, with professional experience in many fields, from writing and editing to brand management and marketing. My education background includes a dual BA in Journalism and Secondary Education from American University, and an MBA with a specialization in Marketing from Providence College. I also hold a Sports Management certificate, also from Providence College.
Outside of work, I enjoy running, skiing, hiking, sailing, traveling, art history, and baking. I am dedicated to the development of women and girl's education across the globe, as well as animal rescue programs. Specifically, I support City Dogs Rescue in Washington, DC from which we adopted our dog, Blaze. I also volunteer for my local Junior League and Girls on the Run chapters.
As an undergraduate, I was President of both my sorority, Sigma Delta Tau, and the American University Club Sailing Team. I was also Vice President of the Kappa Delta Pi Honors Society. Sophomore year, my research paper on the correlation between maternal schooling years and child mortality in Pakistan was selected for publication.
My husband and I currently live in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
