I have a passion for storytelling and strategic communication, with professional experience in many fields, from writing and editing to brand management and marketing.
Currently, I am the Director of Communications for Gray Matter Marketing, and also have a lively freelance writing, editing and photography career. I have a dual BA in Journalism and Secondary Education from American University, and am currently pursuing an MBA with a specialization in Marketing at Providence College, as well as a Sports Management certificate, also from PC.
Outside of work, I enjoy running, sailing, traveling, art history, and baking. I am dedicated to the development of women and girl's education across the globe, as well as animal rescue programs. Specifically, I support City Dogs Rescue in Washington, DC from which we adopted our dog, Blaze.
Currently, I serve as Membership Council Director for the Junior League of Rhode Island, as well as a board member at Girls on the Run Rhode Island.
As an undergraduate, I studied at American University in Washington, D.C., graduating in 2013. During college, I was President of both my sorority, Sigma Delta Tau, and the American University Club Sailing Team. I was also Vice President of the Kappa Delta Pi Honors Society. Sophomore year, my research paper on the correlation between maternal schooling years and child mortality and matriculation in Pakistan was selected for publication.
My husband and I currently live in Bristol, Rhode Island.
